Home isn't a place. It's the table. Our "Home Is Where the Handaan Is" design captures the heart of every Filipino celebration: the whole family gathered around a glistening whole lechon, lolo carving, the kids laughing, pancit and lumpia and kakanin spread across banana leaves, parol lanterns glowing in the background. This is the Filipino family Thanksgiving shirt for everyone who knows the holiday lives at the table. If you're looking for a pinoy shirt with genuine heart, this is the one. It makes a meaningful choice for Thanksgiving, Christmas, family reunions, and birthdays — for the OFW who comes home every December, the family that never misses a handaan, the lola whose lechon is the stuff of legend. The artwork is warm and cinematic: the lechon's crackling skin catching the light, the pancit piled high, the colorful kakanin (ube, sapin-sapin, puto) like edible jewels, the Philippine flags and parols framing it all. It's the kind of design that makes homesick Filipinos tear up a little. Look closer and the details hold you — lolo's careful carve, the kids reaching for lumpia, the steam rising off the pancit, the parol's star glowing warm behind the family. Printed in rich, golden inks that hold their warmth wash after wash — no cracking, no fading, no peeling — so the homecoming stays vivid for years. Printed on the Comfort Colors 1717 garment-dyed tee — soft, breathable 100% ringspun cotton with a relaxed fit and that perfectly worn-in vintage feel. The garment-dyed process gives each shirt its own unique vintage character, comfortable from the first wear and better with every wash. The breathable cotton keeps you cool in a crowded dining room, the relaxed cut drapes comfortably, and the sturdy construction — reinforced shoulders, shape-holding collar — is made for the long haul. This design carries the weight of a real tradition — the balikbayan boxes, the airport pickups, the tables that seat twenty and still feel full. It's a shirt for the ones who fly home for the holidays, who cook for an army, who believe no celebration is complete without lechon. A gift with genuine meaning, a Thanksgiving staple, and the rare design that feels like home. A heartfelt Filipino shirt for the season of togetherness — home is where the handaan is, always. Pair it with our matching Pinoy streetwear and Filipino graphic tees for the complete collection look — and save us a seat at the table.
